Shipping & Returns

USPS is our shipping method.

Never commercial products with waxes or sprays. Priorty Mail is still transported be air. Any slow downs will be based on volume. Only First Class mail is slowed down to ground transportation, as we understand the situation. If mail in your are is particularly slow, let us know. We will attempt to all time for that. Please understand that we are not in control of delivery timing once a package is out of our hands. Hence we are creating priority based on distance. 

If these delivery dates do not match your needs, please consider other options. We are juggling as well. Thank you for understanding. 

Free Delivery-

Local delivery is an option December 20th to 22nd.  PLEASE verify your recipients address and their ability to receive a package.  PLEASE consider our time as valuable as yours. 

Free Pickup-

We offer free pickup for any online orders in SF. Orders can be picked up from David at the Stonestown Farmers Market every Sunday from 9AM - 1PM. Find more information about the market here

Shipping service and fees-
Unfortunately we are not able to absorb shipping costs in these odd times we are experiencing. USPS is the most reasonably priced option. We will do our best to wrap the package well, including materials such as an ice pack and thermal wrapping to protect your order. The shipping rates below are per address. Our website cannot, at the moment, accommodate multiple addresses per order.  For shipping to multiple address and discounted rates, please contact David at david@duchocolatier.com.

Standard Priority Shipping Rates

Orders from $0.00 - $75.00 - $13.50/parcel

Orders above $75 up to $150.00 - $15.75/parcel

Orders above $150 - Free Shipping

Expedited Shipping 

Expedited shipping is available for a flat rate of $68.50/parcel 

Family Shipping-
We are happy to ship to multiple addresses for your gifting needs. Please contact David at david@duchocolatier.com to arrange shipping to multiple addresses and discounted shipping services. 

Avoid Heat Damage-
Please understand that once the package leaves our hands we can not guarantee the handling or timing of delivery.  Chocolate melts easily as you know. If the package is left idle in a hot truck or left on a doorstep in the sun, then damage from heat is more likely. That is beyond our control.

It is best to provide an address where the package can be received on the first delivery attempt. If the package is returned, then damage from heat becomes likely again.

Please understand that we can not offer refunds for goods damaged in delivery or in situations beyond our control. 

We intend to offer a great product that pleases our customers. Please contact us if something is wrong. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs via email. We intend to offer a great product.
